Debbie's Official Blog: When creating an effective Lead Capture Page, it's important to keep in mind that the finished page should serve as a solution to your visitor's problem. They have come to your page looking for something - most likely, something that will enable them to be more successful or make more money. For Newbies: The main purpose of your Lead Capture Page is to collect names and email addresses of prospects in order to build a contact list. The Lead Capture Page should NOT be about your company or opportunity - there will be time for that later. This page should not be about you either, although it is a chance to introduce yourself and your brand, so be aware of that when designing your capture page. This will probably be the FIRST TIME most of your prospects will be meeting you. The easiest way to collect prospects' names and email addresses is with an Autoresponder. If you are not using an Autoresponder yet, it is seriously an invaluable tool that will help increase your revenues and automate your marketing campaigns. It's the difference between typing ONE follow-up email and having it sent over and over again for you as your contact list grows or having to MANUALLY send out an email to possibly hundreds of people every day! As you create your Lead Capture Page, try to write it from your visitor's viewpoint. There needs to be something in it for them. They have a problem and you have the solution, and they need to know you will provide the solution once they provide their information. An effective Lead Capture Page contains the following 5 elements: 1. Pre-Headline: This should consist of only one sentence or just a few words at the top of the page which are used to capture your visitor's attention and lead them into your headline. 2. Headline: This is the most important part of your Lead Capture Page and is best written in the form of a question directed at your visitor. This question must have something to do with their problem and provide the "itch" that you will "scratch" for them. 3. Sub-Headline: This is where you will promise to scratch their "itch," usually with just one or two short sentences. Let your visitor know you are going to help them with their problem (the question posed in the Headline). 4. Call To Action: This should consist of one or two sentences that entice your visitor to take a specific and immediate action in order to receive the solutions you are offering. Give your visitor a strong reason why they should opt-in immediately. Offering a Free Report or Free Access to valuable information often works. 5. Closing: In one or two sentences reiterate to your visitor the value you will be imparting to them. You could also use the closing to mention an additional "gift" they will receive once you've received their information. It's also a good idea to add a "Privacy Policy" statement to your Lead Capture Page. Your privacy policy should ensure visitors their personal information is not going to be sold or rented once they opt in. This will help earn you the trust of your contacts and goes a long way to add professionalism and credibility to your Personal Brand. There are many resources available on the Internet to help you create a professional-looking Lead Capture Page, some of which are free. One of the website services I have found to be the most user-friendly (especially for newbies), will allow you to get rid of page tabs so you can design a site as a Lead Capture Page rather than a standard website. This website service often offers their Pro+ account at half price, which will give you an UNLIMITED number of pages, 50 email addresses, free gift certificates for pay-per-click advertising, just to name a few benefits. They also offer a FREE website but you won't be able to do as much. Check it out at Webstarts. On the home page click on the tab marked "Pricing" and it will take you to a page which outlines their three different account levels to choose from and specifically what you will receive or not receive with each type of account. They also offer Video Tutorials for everything you may want to do with your website. I have tried another website service in the past, and Webstarts is so INCREDIBLY easy to use and understand! Once you begin to build your contact list from the amazingly effective Lead Capture Page you have created, make sure you communicate with them often (an autoresponder makes it so much easier) and make sure you provide them with lots of valuable information! One last note, it's vital to follow through with what you promised on your capture page. The page your visitor is taken to once they've opted in, should be all you promised it would be and more. Congruency is key. If you have additional tips on building an effective Lead Capture Page, please share them in the comments box below. Thanks for reading! November 19, 2009 - 5 Elements Of An Effective Lead Capture Page
One of the reasons it is vital for you to be building your own personal brand, is so you can STAND OUT among the thousands of other reps
that are in the same company you are, right?
Using your company's website (the same one that those thousands of other reps have) will do nothing to promote YOU, and the ad copy on
the site is usually generic at best.
That's why you MUST create your own personal website as part of the branding process. A website where prospects can get to know you
and find out why they should join YOU.
Remember - people join a person, they don't join a company or opportunity, even though we may say, "Oh hey, I just joined this great opportunity. Can I show it to you?"
Think back, why did you join the MLM you're in? Was it really just because the company was so great, or was the person who was asking you to join, have a lot of influence on your decision?
When building your website and choosing a domain name, you're goal is to brand YOURSELF. You need to have at least one website and domain name that is YOUR NAME - joesmith.com or sallybrown.com. If you have a company name, you can always use that for another site.
If you have never created your own website, where do you start? Shop around, there are definitely some web building servces that are more user-friendly than others, especially for beginners and techno-phobes.
I have tried a couple of different ones and I have found a service that I prefer, by far, because of how easy it is to use. In my upcoming E-book on Personal Branding, I will REVEAL the site I use the most and why.
So my friends, start thinking about what you will be putting on your new website, YOU.COM, and I'll be talking with you again soon. Bye for now and have a great day! :)
To Your Success,
Debbie
P.S. Remember to promote the "You Company" on your website. Presenting your opportunity is great, but the focus should be on YOU.

November 1, 2009 - Preparing To Build Your Personal Brand
Welcome back. I'm glad you stopped by today.
I'm here to tell you today, my friends, that YOU are your MOST VALUABLE product in building, not only your Personal Brand, but in building your entire business.
Can you put everything you have into building a successful business if you are filled with self-doubts? If you are letting negative people influence your life? If you are "holding on" to events that have happened in your life? The answer is simple: NO.
Before you can begin to build your brand, a little self-reflection is often in order. Begin by writing down your
answers to three questions:
What are my STRENGTHS?
What are three words used most often to describe me, by those who
know me?
What are my weaknesses and what can I do to improve?
And one of the most important questions - because it will help guide your FUTURE actions and how you will build your brand:
How do I want friends, family, and co-workers to remember me when
I'm gone - what do I hope they will say about my life and the kind of
person I was?
The next step is to simply believe in yourself. Let go of insecurities, dig deep down and bring forth those strengths you wrote about. The UNIQUE qualities which make you who you are.
Believe it or not, setting even small, short-term GOALS too, will give you more confidence to move forward.
Surrounding yourself with positive, supportive people will help you grow stronger as a person, as well as helping you grow your business. Who you spend your time with is YOUR CHOICE. Your responsibility. You ultimately decide what your attitude will be and what your outlook on life is.
But having negative influences around can bring you down.
Negative people = distracting drama in your life. Positive people = no drama which frees you to build your business.
You must take control of your mindset as well, my friends, to prepare yourselves to successfully build a personal brand and business. This includes letting go of the events that happen in your life, the good as well as the bad.
If something doesn't turn out the way you expect it to, or someone treats you badly, YOU DECIDE how you will react.
You make the decision to move on. Holding on to things will hinder your progress towards success and reaching your goals. If you don't like the way something is going in your life, you CAN change it.
So my friends, brand yourself with your values and goals in mind, and you control how the world sees you and what people will say about you.
I look forward to sharing more with you again soon.
Yours in Perseverance,
Debbie Donner

October 27, 2009 - My 3-Minute Report On Fortune Hi-Tech Marketing
So, out of the thousands of Network Marketing opportunities out there, why did I choose to go with Fortune Hi-Tech Marketing? In this
3-minute report, I reveal my reasoning behind the choice I made. In case you have not yet joined Fortune, please read EVERY word of this report!
This will help you to make an informed decision. And you SHOULD research any company which you're considering joining.
First let me start with just a brief overview of Fortune Hi-Tech marketing. This company was founded by one of the top performing network marketers to ever work in this industry, Mr. Paul Orberson. Paul, a former teacher and coach, became a multi-millionaire before the age of 40. He helped turn the first company he joined, into a multi-billion dollar, publicly traded NYSE company.
Paul's goal in starting Fortune, was to "give back," by starting a company that would be focused on the Representatives and their SUCCESS. Part of
the mission statement for this company includes paying "the majority of the profits back to the reps who build the company." Profits begin to be paid
by the 2nd level.
This company is 100% debt free and is partnered with Tier 1 companies, such as AT&T and Verizon, as well as other popular cell phone companies. Cell phones, satellite TV services, nutritional products & fitness, beauty products (shampoo, moisturizers, etc.), travel services, home security So, 300 bucks to start building my own business - not bad I thought. Considering that start-up costs for your average franchise business like a Subway or McDonalds can range anywhere from $15,000.00 to $250,000.00. Three hundred bucks? Not a problem! I began to add up all the "pros" of signing up with FHTM. After absorbing as much information as I could about this network marketing opportunity, the one thing I found objectionable about Fortune, was the archaic marketing methods being taught by the up lines and the lack of specifics about the top 1% of the company, and how they really were able to become 6 or 7-figure earners in such a short amount of time. But that's a conversation for another time! We'll talk again soon. Have a great day! :) To Your Success, (this is not a FHTM corporate website)
As I spent time mulling over my decision about joining FHTM, one thing that jumped out at me almost immediately, was the fact that the
products and services being offered, are really the same products and services that most people are ALREADY USING every day.
systems, identity theft protection - this is just a sampling of the products & services available through FHTM.
WOW, I remember thinking. Talk about diversification!
Then I thought about the fact that the majority of MLM opportunities offer ONE type of product for their distributors. That's it. I began to ponder one question - what happens when their product is no longer popular? No longer sought after? What then? What is there to fall back on? The obvious answer was staring me right in the face - NOTHING. There would be nothing to fall back on.
Fortune is partnered with not only Tier 1 companies, but a diversified group of companies which are NOT TIED to any one specific industry. To me,
it only made sense that this would help FHTM (and me) weather any changes in trends without even batting an eye. That sounded really good to me!
Especially in the economically-challenged times in which we're currently living!
Another deciding factor with me, in joining this opportunity, was the AMAZINGLY small investment required to get started. At the time, I admit, even the $299.00 sounded like a lot to me, but when I thought about the other ventures I had considered, $299.00 was definitely doable.
And some other MLM opportunities require thousands of dollars to get started as well.
That being said, for me personally, the pros outweighed the cons, and I chose to join FHTM.
Part of the oath I took upon becoming a teacher, was to be a life-long learner, so for me, this was just one more opportunity to learn. Learn better ways, up-to-date ways to market this opportunity, and ways to combine my marketing skills with technology. I haven't crammed my head so full of information since my time in the teaching credential program! And I would love to share everything I've learned with you.
I think my three minutes are up. Remember to put your info into the boxes at the top right to reserve your copy of my E-book on Personal Branding (coming soon), as well as your FREE Bonus 5-7 day Boot Camp about Online Marketing Techniques!

October 26, 2009 - Personal Branding
I've been thinking a lot lately about the importance of Personal Branding, not just within the Network Marketing industry, but within any business
really. It seems to me, that Personal Branding is the KEY - or the cement - of the foundation upon which any successful business is built.
Without a "brand" we become just another face in the crowd, just another MLM opportunity that's so easy for prospects to walk away from. I mean
seriously, my friends, there are an absolute TON of opportunities out there.
So what will make those opportunity-seeking prospects choose YOUR
opportunity over all the endless possibilities available?
That, to me, seemed to be one of my greatest dilemmas when I started in MLM. How in the world am I going to stand out as the one to
follow, in that jam-packed sea of opportunities out there?
After spending hour upon hour online researching, the answer soon became crystal clear to me. And it all made so much sense.
Personal Branding. I would have to build the "Me Company." This was a painful truth for me, since I've never been a fan of having my
picture taken, must less displayed for the world to see, but I knew that I had to put my face out there, as a way to begin to build my
own personal brand (this is a HINT on getting started on YOUR personal brand).
I honestly feel that this is such a CRUCIAL part of building any business successfully! In fact, I feel SO passionate about this subject, I have started
an E-book about it, which will be available soon.
In my E-book, Personal Branding: A Path To Personal Improvement, I will reveal the secrets to personal branding that your up line won't
share with you. I will give specific steps you can begin to use IMMEDIATELY to start building the "You Company."
Along with the E-book, (which I will practically be GIVING away), you will be able to sign up for a FREE Bonus 5-7 day Boot Camp (still working out the details) along with the book.
There will be a limited amount of these E-books released, so if you would like to reserve your copy now, just fill in your information in the box below to add your name to the exclusive list of people who will be notified FIRST, when the book becomes available.
In the mean time, my friends, start thinking about what it is - what are the qualities - that create a sense of trust in YOU and make you want
to do business with certain companies or individuals. What are your UNIQUE qualities and strengths? What would make someone want to
do business with you?
I'll be talking with you again soon. Enjoy the rest of your week.
Yours in Perseverance,
Debbie Donner
